Mr. Troy Monsod

University of the Philippines
College of Fine Arts, Major in Industrial Design

Troy has been a Creative Director, Creative Head, and Graphic Artist for several companies, including Statement Magazine, Starcom Mediafest, and Mauve Inc. His teaching experience includes a stint at the Ateneo de Manila High School, teaching Art Appreciation and Media Studies. He is into the latest Mac gadgetry, photography, and video production, and has also been a DJ.

Ms. Sarah Demetria Gaugler

College of Fine Arts and Design, Major in Advertising

As an accomplished freelance visual artist and illustrator, Sarah has been nominated and awarded for a number of her works and projects, including the 21st Awit Awards 2008 for Album Packaging and Design of Orange and Lemons' "Moonlane Gardens". Her illustrations have also been commissioned by radio station Jam 88.3 and Starbucks Philippines, to name a few. She is also a tattoo artist, model, and vocalist of electronic duo, Turbo Goth.

Mr. Keith Dador

While Keith is mainly a photographer and educator by day he is also into digital film production, graphic design, and music (he is guitarist and vocalist for the band Legarda). A product of the Philippine Center for Creative Imaging (PCCI), his works have graced the pages of the magazines of Summit Media. He has shot a number of independent and major label musicians for their album artwork like Techy Romantics' and Tanya Markova's debut albums. Keith also teaches in the Asia Pacific College.

Ms. Marla Ancheta

College of Mass Communication, Major in Film and Audiovisual Communication

You might have seen one of the many works of Marla in television, as she has produced and directed many commercials and music videos of the country's most popular musicians. Her work experience includes stints with MTV Phillipines, as well as various major film productions and independent films. She is currently the in-house director for Industria Productions. Marla also has experience in education, having been a lecturer in Asia Pacific College since 2006. She is also one of the people behind Furball, Inc., one of the leading production companies in the country today.

Brendan has always been involved in the arts as an educator and as an artist. He has taught many lectures and workshops in various schools and institutions, including workshops in painting, animation, and other forms of visual art. The Ateneo de Manila University, Ayala Museum, and the Cultural Center of the Philippines are only some of the institutions Brendan has shared his talent and knowledge with. He has also joined various exhibits showcasing his work. Brendan is also into mixed media.

Mr. Nico Puertollano

Bachelor of Fine Arts, Major in Computer Arts

Nico traced his roots in the Philippines from the urban jungles of Manhattan, New York after winning numerous competitions by fusing Filipino culture in his art. After gaining much experience with New York-based RhinoFX, he returned to Manila in 2003 and started as a freelance artist. Today, he is one of the most sought-after artists in the local graphic design and advertising industry. Together with his wife, Katwo, Nico started 27+20 Design Boutique, whose portfolio includes work in various advertisements, AVPs, and music videos of local bands like Sandwich, Taken By Cars, and Techy Romantics. Nico has exhibited works in shows around the metro, including a full-scale skate park in Bonifacio High Street in Taguig City. He has also been sharing his knowledge by teaching motion graphics in several schools, including SHIFT.

Mr. Ramon Vizmonte

Bachelor of Arts in Multimedia Art

Mon has been designing professionally in print and on the web since 2004. He has also designed album covers and packaging of various local independent bands and musicians, including Mayonnaise's self-titled debut album. Some of his notable web works include the Team Manila Design Studio website, and The One School website. He has been a professor in De La Salle University - College of St. Benilde for the past three years, teaching Multimedia Arts.

Mr. Dan Matutina

College of Fine Arts, Major in Visual Communication

Dan has been recognized around the country and worldwide for his work here and abroad. He has garnered a number of awards and citations after representing the country, among these is a 2nd Place finish in the 2006 Young Lotus Competition at the Asia Pacific Adfest in Thailand. He also won Bronze for the Tinta Awards in 2008. His works have also been published in different countries spanning from the US to France and from UK to Costa Rica. He continually gives talks and lectures about creativity and effective visual communication to schools, corporations, and various institutions.

Mr. Ryan Villena

Bachelor of Arts in Social Science, Masters in Basic Education

Ryan is the Academic Head of SHIFT, but his teaching experience include ten years of service in the Filipino Subject Area and moderator to several student organizations in the Ateneo High School which includes the Music Industry Org, Teatro Baguntao, and the Pugad Literary Folio. He has dabbled in various forms of art, including the visual arts (painting), performing arts (theater), music (songwriting and composition), and production management (directing). He was also into the bar and restaurant business when he and some of his high school friends opened Rory's Neighborhood Café along Katipunan Road a few years back. Ryan has also been an active player in the local music industry since 1994. He and his wife, Camyl, currently make 2/3 of the electronic group, Techy Romantics.
